BEST BET
RHINOCEROS (Race 7 No.5 – $3)
Rhinoceros was solid again when not far away at The Valley on Christmas Eve. Blinkers come off and the class drop will be perfect for him on Wednesday.
NEXT BEST
THE WOKE WAITER (Race 2 No.9 – $5.50)
The Woke Waiter looked in need of more ground when second at Geelong last time out. He’s up to 1600m for this and should go well.
AWOL (Race 6 No.6 – $8)
Led and found plenty to break his maiden at Warrnambool second-up. More depth here but he’s an improver and can measure up.
VALUE BET
TICK TOOK BOOM (Race 4 No.4 – $15)
Tick Tock Boom charged home to score at Geelong on Boxing Day. He’s up a touch in grade but watch for him late at odds.
THE JOCKEY
CRAIG NEWITT
Craig Newitt was a winner at Flemington last Friday and again at Moe on Saturday. He has a sound book of six rides at Pakenham. IMMINANCE (Race 1 No.6 – $4.40), CHIHULY (Race 2 No.2 – $7), ROLLING FIELDS (Race 3 No.5 – $41), DIDDLEY SQUAT (Race 6 No.5 – $5), RED ON RED (Race 7 No.9 – $26), OCEAN RAIDER (Race 8 No.2 – $7)
