RACE 1: 12:10PM PUNTERS.COM.AU HANDICAP (1600m)

Expecting firm conditions at Caulfield on Saturday. Tricky field to start the day but BIG BREW (5) looks well suited on the fresh side after a good effort last time out and he’s drawn to have every chance. POLANCO (2) pushed forward and did a good job when not far away at The Valley last time and will be thereabouts. DELIGHTFUL JOURNEY (8) steps up in class but will be in this for a long way. SHOCK ‘EM OVA (3) will give a start but should be running on late.

SUGGESTED BET: Big Brew each-way.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Shock ‘Em Ova $2.25 – $2.10

RACE 2: 12:40PM LIVING LEGENDS 4CYTE HANDICAP (2000m)

FIRST IMMORTAL (2) has plenty of weight but also gets the services of star jockey Hugh Bowman and maps to get a beautiful run behind the leaders. DONATRICE (12) has won well at her last two runs and rates as one of the main dangers. SHE’S FIT (3) drops in class after a sound effort at The Valley and can improve. CHANDON BURJ (9) ran on soundly over this trip last time out and blinkers go on for this.

SUGGESTED BET: First Immortal to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: First Immortal $3.10 – $2.70.

RACE 3: 1:15PM PANCARE RECYCAL PLATE (1200m)

RED CARD (1) has built an impressive record and will only be improved on her first-up win at Rosehill. She’ll be hard to run down from the front. SERADESS (9) will find this easier than taking on top company in the McEwen Stakes and will be much fitter. BLISTERING (5) is consistent and can run into the placings first-up in this. FORBIDDEN CITY (7) has produced her best form over further but watch for her late here.

SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 1, 9/ 1, 9/Field.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Red Card $2.10 – $1.65.

RACE 4: 1:50PM HERE FOR THE HORSES HANDICAP (1400m)

Not expecting much pace here, which will suit those near the speed. TAJNEED (5) won’t be far away in the run and rates an each-way chance if she repeats her solid effort at her last run. NUNTHORPE (4) raced on the speed and held on to score in this class last time and has drawn perfectly this time. OUR RED MORNING (8) has impressed working through the grades and can measure up to this. YELLOW SAM (11) is racing well and won’t be far away again.

SUGGESTED BET: Tajneed each-way.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Our Red Morning $3.20 – $2.70.

RACE 5: 2:25PM LISTED DOWN SYNDROME VICTORIA JIM MOLONEY STAKES (1400m)

OUR EMPRESS (9) raced on the pace and was outgunned by the classy Charm Stone at The Valley second-up and has drawn to be in this for a long way again. ZOUKERETTE (4) gave a start and worked home soundly first-up but can race closer over this longer trip. MIRACLE OF LOVE (6) is on her way to longer races but has the class to show up over 1400m fresh. POIFECT (15) is untapped and could measure up to a tricky race like this.

SUGGESTED BET: Our Empress each-way.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Miracle Of Love $4.80 – $3.50.

RACE 6: 3:00PM LISTED EQUINE PATHWAYS LAMARO’S TESTA ROSSA STAKES (1400m)

HERE TO SHOCK (8) raced on the speed and fought on well when giving away 9kg to Devoted first-up and he races well over this trip. AMENABLE (10) will give a start but drops in class after a good effort at Group 1 level second-up. BANDERSNATCH (1) has been solid in his two runs back from a spell and races best over this trip. CORNER POCKET (5) did a good job at The Valley fresh and will have every chance.

SUGGESTED BET: Box trifecta 1, 5, 8, 10.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Bandersnatch $8.50 – $7

RACE 7: 3:40PM GROUP 3 NEDS CAULFIELD GUINEAS PRELUDE (1400m)

A good edition of the Caulfield Guineas Prelude (1400m) but going with VEIGHT (2) after his strong first-up win in the McNeil Stakes and he was a Group 2 winner over 1400m last time in. LITTLE BROSE (1) has finished off well at both runs this time in and blinkers go on for this. STEPARTY (3) is unbeaten and could measure up to this harder test. SCHEELITE (5) has finished off well at both runs to date and looks ready for this step up in trip.

SUGGESTED BET: Veight to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Veight $5.50 – $4.

RACE 8: 4:20PM GROUP 3 CATANACH’S JEWELLERS MRC FOUNDATION CUP (2000m)

A Caulfield Cup ballot exemption will be on the line for the winner here. Expecting a slowly-run race, which could suit GOLDMAN (5) as he’s the likely leader despite drawing wide. BEAR STORY (10) wasn’t disgraced after working hard behind the flying Young Werther at The Valley and he’ll be fitter again. ALASKAN GOD (17) will be at peak fitness after a good effort in the Feehan Stakes third-up. FLOATING ARTIST (3) was too strong at The Valley last time out and should continue to improve.

SUGGESTED BET: Goldman to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Floating Artist $4.20 – $3.60

RACE 9: 4:55PM GROUP 2 CLAMMS SEAFOOD FEEHAN STAKES (1600m)

The Underwood Stakes is an open race but RIGHT YOU ARE (9) has continued to improve throughout his career and will be fitter for his narrow first-up defeat. Barrier two will suit as well. ALLIGATOR BLOOD (2) will be the hardest to beat again after a game effort in the Makybe Diva Stakes last Saturday. ATTRITION (14) has a tricky gate but should be around the mark after two excellent efforts this time in. SMOKIN’ ROMANS (6) should be thereabouts again despite drawing awkwardly.

SUGGESTED BET: Right You Are each-way

TAB MARKET MOVER: Alligator Blood $4.40 – $3.30.

RACE 10: 5:25PM RULE HENLEY HOMES SPRINT (1100m)

Tough race to finish but going with VIVIANE (12) to continue on her winning way. She steps up in class but the 7.5kg weight drop will offset that. GENERATION (2) was solid in Group 2 company first-up and races well at Caulfield. MIDWEST (4) led and fought on well in a harder race at Caulfield fresh and should be in this for a long way. ASHFORD STREET (8) has been around in the mark in stakes company at his couple of runs and will find this easier.

SUGGESTED BET: Viviane to win.

TAB MARKET MOVER: Midwest $5.50 – $3.90.
