LIVERPOOL striker Daniel Sturridge has suffered a new injury and could be sidelined for another month.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Sturridge pulled his calf muscle in training as he prepared to return from a five-week layoff due to a thigh strain.
“He’s looking at being out for another two to four weeks,” Rodgers said.
“It’s a big blow as we were looking forward to welcoming Daniel back.”
Liverpool have endured a sputtering start to the season, sitting ninth on 10 points after seven games.
