FROM surfing tips to accommodation advice and a rush on A-League gear, the Central Coast is electrified ahead of Usain Bolt’s arrival on Saturday.

They’re so charged they’ve already immortalised him in burger form.

And that’s before the eight-time Olympic gold medal winner and history’s fastest man has even put boot to ball in his A-League trial with the Central Coast Mariners.

Fans are hyped ahead of what could be the club’s biggest season.

“It would be pretty cool to see him out there and see if he’s able to play,” supporter Tyler Reeves said.

“He’s so talented, he’d be so good at it,” fellow loyalist Jazmin Butler said.

Meanwhile, Tourism Central Coast’s Russell Mills said Bolt’s arrival was “manna from heaven”.

“His presence … is something we want to make the most of,” he said.

At The Coast Bar and Restaurant, manager Sam Mokdad is ready to host the Forbes rich lister, believed to be worth about $50 million.

“I know he’s going to come in … we know a few people who know Usain and said they’re going to bring him in. We’re very excited,” Mr Mokdad said.

“I hope he comes in and dines with us, I’d love to meet him,” waitress Phoebe Studholme said.

And Erina’s Sidelines Sports Grill has already added the Jamaican jerk-seasoned double fried chicken Lightning Bolt burger to its menu.

“He’s really helping out our local businesses, whether he knows it or not,” bar manager Luke Williams said.

Residents are also keen to show off watersports to the Jamaican star, saying he could have a crack at surfing the famous Crackneck Point near Bateau Bay or paddleboarding in Avoca Lagoon.

And while his digs have yet to be sorted, the Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s presidential suite could suit. Either way, occupancy rates could jump.

“(He) will put the Central Coast in front of sporting fans all over the world,” Crowne Plaza’s Emma Perham said.
