Football star follows up viral act of kindness with awesome surprise

AN American football star has created the most heartwarming sport story of 2016 after performing a second act of ultimate kindness for his biggest fan.

Heartwarming.
Heartwarming.

Florida State wide receiver Travis Rudolph made headlines last week when he made an incredible gesture and sat with a young autistic boy eating lunch alone at school.

Someone snapped a photo of Rudolph eating with young Bo Paske at Montford Middle School in Tallahassee and the picture — accompanied by a touching caption from Bo’s mother Leah — went viral on Facebook.

Though the gesture itself was a fairly small one, its impact on Paske and his family has been enormous. Soon after his sit-down with Rudolph, Paske became a popular face among his peers and he no longer ate alone at lunch. In fact, he’s been sitting at a table full of people.

On Monday, Rudolph once again met with Bo, and this time he brought gifts. Not only did the junior wideout present the middle schooler with his own personalised Seminoles jersey, he also gave the Paskes tickets to Monday night’s FSU season-opener against the Ole Miss Rebels.

Considering the huge smile and the warm hug, it’s pretty clear how excited Bo is when Rudolph surprises him. It’s hard to imagine this story being better than it already is, but it somehow just keeps getting more and more special.
