Australia will once again rely on its dependable bowling unit, led by Pat Cummins, to skittle the West Indies and set up a shot at redemption with the bat in Bridgetown.

The Aussies won the toss and chose to bat, but managed only 180 despite Travis Head (59) and Usman Khawaja (47) scoring 106 runs between them. Jayden Seales and Shamar Joseph combined for nine wickets as the West Indies ran riot.

The tourists’ veteran bowling attack got part of the job done in that final session, reducing the West Indies to 4-57 after 20 overs in the field.

But the biggest moment belonged to West Indies paceman Seales, who sought to downplay his send-off to Australian captain Pat Cummins while confirming the Windies looked to exploit a perceived weakness in Sam Konstas’ game “as much as possible.”
