The summer of cricket has officially arrived and to celebrate a stacked schedule of coverage, Foxtel – in conjunction with News Corp – is launching its Ton of Cricket campaign, to find out once and for all what moment resonates the most with Aussies.

Will it be Warnie’s ‘Gatting’ ball? Tugga’s final century? Our world-beating T20 Women’s side? Or something else entirely?

To help narrow down the list, former paceman Brett Lee and the Fox Cricket experts have pulled together their Top 100 moments across all formats of the game dating back to 1877.

We have listed it in chronological order starting way back in 1877 and it comes right up to just a few weeks ago.

“Narrowing down to 100 moments was not an easy task and there were plenty of other incredible achievements which we couldn’t quite squeeze in,” Lee said.

“There’s a certain charm and love people have for cricket because of the personal storylines and individual heroics which become part of folklore.

“No doubt this campaign will generate a lot of debate but hopefully it also triggers a lot of fond memories and gets fans excited for our biggest summer of cricket yet.”
