Cricket Australia confirmed the disgraced trio has until Thursday to decide.
“The players were given seven days to decide whether to accept their proposed sanctions or appeal,” a spokesman said.
Smith, Warner and Bancroft are receiving legal advice and at least one key influence has urged them all to appeal.
Bancroft, 25, was given a lesser sentence and would be eligible to return next summer.
While he has lost a county cricket contract with Somerset, Bancroft could still join another English club for the winter.
“I have received the paper work for my sanction and I will respect the process that will come with that,” Bancroft said.
“I will work with my manager and we will move forward with that.”
