Players vying for the Games and Tokyo Olympics will return to their base in Adelaide to train on as a squad before national tour events in the new year which will also form part of the Commonwealth Games selection.
While mixing teams up is a tradition in beach volleyball, Clancy and del Solar have been the standout team for Australia this season.
“I love playing with T (Clancy), we just get on so well in and off the court,” del Solar said before the event.
