THE Broncos may be forced to promote a new bench forward with young enforcer Tevita Pangai Jnr facing three weeks on the sideline ahead of Friday’s NRL clash with the Rabbitohs.

The powerful prop suffered a knee injury and broke a finger in last week’s narrow win over the Titans. Pangai Jnr won’t be able to see a specialist until Tuesday for his broken finger but is looking at 3-4 weeks on the sideline. With Jai Arrow (thumb) also sidelined for up to six weeks, Brisbane may call prop Joe Ofahengaue into the side or could look to fresh blood in young Souths Logan forward George Fai. Broncos Live blog, powered by NRMA Both Ofahengaue and Fai played in the Intrust Super Cup on Sunday so only had light sessions at Red Hill on Monday. Winger Jordan Kahu (groin) and prop Korbin Sims (foot) trained on modified programs but are expected to be fine for Friday’s clash. Utility Kodi Nikorima finished training early but it is understood he just had some tightness in his hips.
