ANTHONY Mundine has split from his colourful agent Khoder Nasser after more than 20 years because he wanted him to quit boxing.
Mundine was spotted in Brisbane yesterday with his new advisor Emaid Dib at the home of boxing trainer Glen Rushton to negotiate an agreement to fight Jeff Horn in November.
The 43-year-old Mundine says Nasser “is still my brother” but the pair are not together for this fight.

“Khoder wanted me to retire,” Mundine said, “I wanted someone who still believed in me.”
Retirement is the last thing on Mundine’s mind as negotiations continued yesterday for the Horn fight.
“This fight will catapult me back onto the world stage,” Mundine said.
“I’ll get a fight in America if I beat Jeff. I don’t want to just beat him, I want to make a statement.

“I want to stop him in the first six rounds, quicker than Terrence Crawford did.
“You’ve got no idea how good I’m feeling at the moment. I pumped bra.”
There is interest from Adelaide, Brisbane and Northern Territory to stage Horn v Mundine in what would be a huge pay day for both fighters.
The fight would be shown on Main Event into homes, pubs and clubs around the country.
“It’s good that Horn is going to get a pay day,” Mundine said, “He’s a young man with a young family.
“For me it’s not about the money. I already own nearly 10 properties and I’ve made my millions.
“This is about me winning and fighting in America. I don’t care where I fight him, as long as there’s a square ring.”
Because of Mundine’s drawing power and history of attracting the biggest pay-per-view audiences, Horn will make as last as much as he got for the recent Crawford fight in Las Vegas, where he was outclassed by the classy American.
