Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley faced off for the final time before their showdown and security needed to rush in after a final act of disrespect.

There was no shortage of tension on Sunday when Jake Paul and Tyron Woodley faced off at the weigh-in ahead of their cruiserweight boxing bout.

Paul weighed in at 190 pounds while Woodley tipped the scales at 189.5.

Paul is undefeated from his three boxing fights and remains the slight favourite with bookmakers.

The event was relatively uneventful at the start before Paul was invited to speak with boxing journalist and host Ariel Helwani.

With a box of Raising Cane’s chicken fingers, Paul took the opportunity to taunt Woodley.

“Chicken fingers, Tyron’s a chicken,” Paul told Helwani.

“It makes sense.”

Woodley though had his own plan, approaching the YouTube sensation with a handful of Dude Wipes, which are baby wipes for men.

Paul then hit the wipes out of Woodley’s hand and tried to snatch his hat like he had with Floyd Mayweather ahead of brother Logan’s exhibition bout.

He failed this time around though as tensions boiled over and both camps came rushing onto the stage, threatening an all-in brawl.

It followed an intense press conference on Friday morning where one of Paul’s team members was accused of trash talking Woodley’s mother.

Paul has been doing plenty of talk himself in the lead-up to the fight, even declaring he has no respect for what Woodley has achieved in the UFC world.

“There’s no real respect,” he said earlier in the week.

“I don’t respect what he’s done. I’m going to show that winning a UFC title doesn’t mean s*** in the world of boxing.”
