Osley Iglesias has recorded one of the most terrifying knockout victories you’re ever likely to see.

The undefeated super middleweight star delivered the hellacious blow in the opening round of his bout against Evgeny Shvedenko at the Montreal Casino in Montreal, Canada.

The Russian veteran proved no match for the powerful Cuban boxer who ended the bout with a flush right hook in the dying stages of the opening round.

But it was what unfolded next that left boxing fans watching on covering their eyes.

Shvedenko, 33, slumped to the canvas flat on his back with both arms left stiff in the arm before he started convulsing on the ground.

As Iglesias began his celebrations the crowd fell silent as the referee and medical staff rushed to the side of Shvedenko.

“A horrifying reaction there from Evgeny Shvedenko,” one commentator said in the aftermath.

“We’re going to wait to qualify this to make sure that Shvedenko is okay. A scary, scary sight here at the Montreal Casino.”

The sickening scenes left boxing fans stunned as videos of the incident quickly whipped around social media.

One fan wrote: “Get this man to the hospital asap. This was dangerous. What a knockout.”

A second added: “That’s really scary hope bro is ok. Take a year off! Or more!”

A third posted: “I have seen many knockouts on TV because I love boxing, but I have never seen one as terrifying as this one … I was shocked.”

The win for Iglesias takes him to 12-0 in his boxing career and could see him rise even higher on the WBC standings.

He’s currently ranked as the eighth best super middleweight on both the WBC and Ring Magazine rankings.

Canelo Alvarez remains the king of the division with David Benavidez second on the rankings with boxing fans praying the two go toe-to-toe-.

The showdown has been the biggest talking point for boxing fans, but so far no traction has been gained on arguably the most wanted fight.
