There were fiery scenes on the undercard for the Paul Gallen-Kris Terzievski fight when two boxers and their camps got into a heated push and shove after their fight.
It came after Hass Hamdan defeated Trent Girdham via unanimous decision (57-56, 58-55, 58-55) in their welterweight fight that went the full six rounds.

Both fighters had their moments but Hamdan was far more consistent and recovered well from a first-round knockdown, landing regular blows throughout the fight.
Girdham’s corner was trash talking Hamdan for the entire fight in an attempt to get him off his game, firing off countless barbs including: “You can’t even beat an MMA fighter.”
On the other side of the ring Hamdan’s coach, Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech, was constantly barking orders at his charge.
The two boxers shared an embrace after the final bell but Girdham was clearly furious at the decision and couldn’t get out of the ring fast enough after hearing he had lost the fight.
Hamdan tried to shake his opponent’s hand but Girdham completely brushed him as he slipped under the ropes and jumped out of the ring at the Newcastle Entertainment Centre.
Hamdan didn’t take kindly to the lack of sportsmanship, yelling: “F*** you! F*** you!” as Girdham scurried off.
The pair’s respective camps then engaged in some push and shove and nearly came to blows as tempers flared.
Hamdan’s father Nader gave a big shove, but the two camps were separated and tempers cooled.
Paul Kent said in commentary: “Poor old Girdham’s corner, they turned pale because they woke the beast in Nader Hamdan. This could have turned really bad.”
Speaking after his victory, Hamdan was clearly less than impressed with Girdham.
“Look if he shook my hand here, I would have given him all the wraps in the world,” he said. “He got me with a good shot. That was all he had.”
Fenech said: “I’m a little bit disappointed … if they honestly thought their fighter won the fight there’s something wrong with them. It was a close fight.
“It was a great fight. The two guys should be congratulated and we shouldn’t need this cr*p after a great fight like that.”
Barry Michael added: “It was a little bit poor the way he walked out how he did.”
