ANTHONY Mundine wants one more year in boxing and a crack at WBO welterweight champion and compatriot Jeff Horn before calling it quits.

Speaking ahead of his clash with Tommy Browne in Sydney for the vacant WBO middleweight title on Wednesday, the 42-year-old says he is in the best shape in more than a decade.

“I would like to have three fights this year that would probably be it, but if I keep winning and they keep offering me these big money fights, I’ll have to sit down and think ‘is it enough’?’ Mundine said on Tuesday.

In December, Mundine said a bout with Horn in 2018 “makes sense” but then went on to discredit the WBO welterweight champ’s boxing talent.

“I’m too big, too strong, too fast, too everything,” Mundine said.

“I give him props for what he’s done, he hasn’t got the best talent but he’s got hard work ethic and he made his dream a reality through sheer hard work.

“He’s got a bit of a punch too. Good on him, but if he comes up against me it’s the wrong move.

“Obviously it makes sense, because national fights, especially two Australians known throughout the boxing world makes for a massive fight.

“Danny Green don’t want it, so if he want it, he can get it.

“But I’m not focused on him, I’m focused on leaving by fighting the best and solidify my greatness in the sport.”

“The Man” also called out pound-for-pound superstars Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin.
