THE hype surrounding Andrew Bogut’s arrival at the Sydney Kings will ramp up a notch on Friday when he steps out for his first match in yellow and purple.
The Kings pre-season trial against Japan - streamed live and exclusively on DailyTelegraph.com.au - will be Bogut’s first outing for the NBL club since he returned home to Australia from the NBA.
Tune into DailyTelegraph.com.au to watch the match live from Brydens Stadium at Sydney University.
Coverage will include pre-show analysis as well as an exclusive interview with Bogut at halftime.
Kings commentator and historian Matt McQuade and former Kings captain and Fox Sports NBL caller Brad Rosen will provide commentary for the clash, with sideline reporting from The Daily Telegraph’s own basketball journalist Matt Logue.
Kings coach Andrew Gaze will also by mic’d up throughout the broadcast.
The pre-match show begins at 7:15pm on Friday (August 10), with the Kings taking on Japan live from 7:30pm.
