Super Bowl LIX wrap: Eagles demolish Chiefs, Aussie makes history
An Australian has made Super Bowl history as the Chiefs were blown off the park in an “absolute beatdown” by the Philadelphia Eagles.
The Eagles have taken down the all-conquering Chiefs, physically dominating at the line, throwing Patrick Mahomes off his game and racking up the points to win 40-22 at the New Orleans Superdome.
Eagles offensive tackle Jordan Mailata, from Sydney, has officially become the first Australian to play in a winning Super Bowl team in the process.
