After breaking one tackle, the Saints superstar was pushed out of the bounds, forcing him to fall directly into the legs of a member of the NFL’s chain gang.

The crew member could be seen rolling around on the ground in agony immediately after the collision, with his lower left leg bent at a horrific angle.

Kamara could be seen on the Fox Sports broadcast looking down at the crew member hopelessly while a member of the sideline security staff comforted the injured official and immediately called for medical support.

The broadcast then cut away from the incident as medical staff loaded the injured crew member onto a stretcher and whisked him away to hospital.

Vision of the incident quickly went viral on social media with thousands of commenters speaking about how horrific the injury was, while others noticed Kamara’s helpless reaction.

“He (Kamara) looked like he wanted to help but didn’t know what to do,” wrote one NFL fan on X.

“Kamara had to do a double take like damn,” wrote another.

“That’s awful.. i hope he’d be compensated handsomely,” wrote a third.

“Worst injury of the day was to a chain crew member in the Saints-Lions game. Legs aren’t supposed to bend like that,” wrote a fourth.

The Lions ended up winning the clash against the Saints 33-28, while Kamara had a great day out, registering two touchdowns and 51 yards rushing.
