Las Vegas Raiders owner Mark Davis has perhaps the weirdest haircut in all of sports, and as it turns out, his bizarre style in the salon extends to his desires in the realm of real estate.
Davis is not your average NFL owner. According to ESPN, he uses a 2003 Nokia phone and drives around in a mini-van.

Those are not possessions you’d typically associate with someone who’s reportedly worth a jaw-dropping $AUD675 million, according to SportsKeeda.
Despite the old-school items in Davis’ life, the plans for his future mansion in Henderson, Nevada — a 20-minute drive from Las Vegas — couldn’t be any more futuristic if he tried.
The digital renderings for the new house also show off Davis’ deep appreciation for the Raiders, who he relocated from their spiritual home in Oakland to Sin City in January 2020.
Raiders owner Mark Davisâ home set to be constructed in Henderson to have a Silver & Black feel to it. Plans call for the 15,000 sqft home to include a 5,422 sqft garage. Itâs listed valuation is $14 million.

The sprawling 15,000 square-foot home is estimated to cost just under $AUD19 million, and is heavily decked out with silver and black features — the colours of the Raiders.
As Davis has probably noticed since relocating the Raiders to Vegas, it can get pretty hot there. Las Vegas’ average temperature from May until September is always above 30 degrees celsius.
With a lot of black glass and material on a house, it’s going to be incredibly hot.
NFL fans absolutely tore into Davis’ new house, poking fun at just about everything to do with it.
San Jose Mercury reporter Dieter Kurtenbach tweeted: “After years of alleging that Mark Davis was the kind of person who would ‘build a black house in the desert’ he finally did it. Be sure to wear shoes by the pool.”
Yahoo Sports columnist Dan Wetzel wrote: “If Mark Davis is secretly a comic book villain — using the hair cut to throw us off — he now isn’t doing much to disguise his true identity.”
Insider columnist Josh Barro tweeted: “Sorry this is an airport concourse”.
NBC Sports journalist D.J. Short said: “The first house made out of a Transformer”.
Davis became the owner of the Raiders in 2011, after his father, Al Davis, passed away.
The 66-year-old also took ownership the Las Vegas Aces of the WNBA in January this year, where Australian star Liz Cambage plies her trade.
Davis’ Raiders had a strong start to the 2020 NFL season, and held a record of six wins and three losses.
However, the side went on a horror run and only won two of the remaining seven games left in the season as they failed to make the playoffs in their inaugural season in Las Vegas.
