The dominoes are still standing as we close in on the final day of the AFL Trade Period many expected would see plenty of stars finding new homes.
One of the biggest names on the table is GWS forward Jeremy Cameron with the club playing hardball as Geelong continues to try and lure him away from Sydney.

Geelong’s latest reported offer for Cameron was tabled on Monday with the Cats offering up two first-round draft picks in exchange for the 2019 Coleman Medallist.
But the Giants rejected the offer, with former Port Adelaide premiership star Kane Cornes detailing why they shut it down.
“I know Jay Clark has been reporting in the Herald Sun, I think he said it was a very generous offer from Geelong towards the Giants, the Giants don’t see it that way,” Cornes said on AFL Trade Radio.
“In fact, they would say the points value, we know that every draft has a points value, for example pick one is worth 3000 points. The Giants would say that the points value offered right now from Geelong is less than the compensation pick that they could have had in the first place if they’d let Jeremy Cameron walk.
“I did the numbers on it and the pick 10 compensation they would have got for Jeremy Cameron is 1395 points. We’re reading that Geelong put up picks 15 and 20. — so pick 15 is 1112 and 20 is 912, so that equals 2024.
“So you’re thinking, ‘They’re in front by about 600?’ I think what will happen is when the compensation bids come in on draft night, those picks will drop right back down and I’d imagine Geelong also wants something back (from the Giants).
“The Giants are now resigned to the fact that there won’t be a player involved. They did throw up Brandan Parfitt, that’s been rejected. The Cats put up some fringe players, but none of those interest the Giants, so they’re resolved to that fact.
“They keep telling the Giants that Cameron is 28 so they can’t expect similar compensation to Tim Kelly (who left Geelong for West Coast). The Giants are countering that by saying, ‘You’re giving him $1 million over six years’.
“It’s going to be picks and I don’t believe there’ll be other clubs involved.”
The Giants had remained hopeful of keeping Cameron on their list for the future, but his manager Alex McDonald shut down that idea when he told SEN’s Dwayne Russell he wouldn’t be back even if a trade fell through.
Geelong hold picks 13, 15 and 20 in the upcoming AFL Draft. The Trade Period ends at 7:30pm AEDT on Thursday November 12.
