Taylor Adams may have to wait another week before pulling on the red and white in the big time, with the Swans sweating on a careless tackle from the midfielder in the VFL.

Sydney is sweating on the verdict from the match review officer, with new recruit Taylor Adams finding himself in hot water during a VFL match.
Finding fitness in the reserves grade, Adams collected 21 disposals and 13 tackles in just under three quarters of football, and was pencilled in for his maiden Swans senior match in Gather Round.
However, the Swans are reportedly concerned the midfielder may find himself under scrutiny for a dangerous tackle against Richmond’s reserve side.
Adams laid a two-motion sling tackle on Richmond’s Mutaz El Nour, with an umpire paying a dangerous tackle free kick against the Swans veteran.
While El Nour’s head appears to have made contact with the turf, the Tigers defender jumped up immediately, took his kick and played out the match.
It was the second dangerous tackle free kick of the game against Adams, with another incident gifting Richmond a goal.
The tackle was a singular motion, however it had a driving nature to it and resulted in Cam Olden’s head hitting the ground.
A scuffle involving Taylor broke out immediately after the set shot and the Swan gave away another free kick, resulting in two Tigers goals in about 30 seconds.
Adams’ tackle is likely to be assessed careless, low impact and high contact, earning him a fine.
However, if the MRO deems it was medium impact, Adams would receive a week.
If the MRO decides both incidents are worthy of scrutiny, the cases would be dealt with separately, and Adams would likely receive a pair of fines.
