COLLINGWOOD veteran Travis Varcoe could be facing a stint on the sidelines after he was reported for a brutal bump on star Bulldog Luke Dahlhaus while running at full speed.
Varcoe was booked mid-way through the first term of the Magpies’ clash against the Western Bulldogs at the MCG after charging off the back of the centre square and colliding with Dahlhaus.
With Dahlhaus not competing for the ball, Varcoe elected to bump Dahlhaus and consequently made contact with the star Dog’s head, which immediately sent him to the ground.

Varcoe quickly had his jumper number jotted down in the umpire’s book, with the Match Review Panel bound to heavily scrutinise the hit when it convenes on Monday.
He could join fellow veteran Daniel Wells, as well as the likes of Jamie Elliott, Levi Greenwood and Jordan De Goey on the sidelines.
The 28-year-old missed five of the firsts even games last year with a hamstring injury, but regained fitness to play out the 2016 season.
