CARLTON will have to bounce back from it’s 109-point smashing against Melbourne without captain Marc Murphy who has suffered another injury setback, while Josh Schache will debut for the Dogs and the Magpies welcome back a son of a gun.

CARLTON captain Marc Murphy has suffered another injury setback and will miss Saturday night’s clash against Geelong.

Murphy has injured his foot again and is among four changes for the Blues as coach Brendon Bolton has reacted strongly to Sunday’s thrashing from Melbourne for the clash against the Cats. Jarrod Garlett, Nick Graham and Aaron Mullett were all dropped. No. 1 draft pick Jacob Weitering has bounced back into the team after some string form in the VFL, while Ed Curnow and Charlie Curnow also return. SUPERCOACH: ULTIMATE BYE TRADE GUIDE SEE THE ROUND 10 TEAMS BELOW HOT PIE: SEVEN CLUBS CHASING DE GOEY Murphy said on Thursday night he faced a big decision on his future. “I love this club, so, yeah, there’s a bit of thinking to do,” Murphy said yesterday on Channel 7. “Hopefully we will get this foot right and make a call on that (contract) pretty soon.” Murphy was unsure about the severity of the foot problem. He will have scans on it today. “At the moment we are not really too sure what is going on with it. It could be scar tissue, it could be a (plantar fascia) rupture.” Western Bulldogs have turned to ex-Brisbane full forward Josh Schache to help the club claim its biggest scalp of the season against Collingwood on Friday night. Schache, 20, will play his first game for the club against the Pies after arriving at the kennel in exchange for picks No. 25 and No. 40 last year. Coach Luke Beveridge will go taller in the forward line after promoting Schache, Tory Dickson and pacy backman Roarke Smith for omitted trio Mitch Wallis, Josh Dunkley and Lukas Webb. SWANS BLOW: FREAK INJURY ENDS CALLUM MILLS’S SEASON Collingwood has regained important forward Ben Reid, youngster Josh Daicos and tagger Levi Greenwood for an almost certain shutdown role on Brownlow fancy Jack Macrae. Reid returns after three weeks out with an achilles injury, but Sam Murray has been dropped for the first time since crossing to the Pies at the end of last year. Sydney has been rocked by a season-ending foot injury to star playmaker Callum Mills. The impressive defender broke his foot as he tripped while throwing a gridiron ball on the way back to the club from a Moore Park cafe and will have surgery on Monday. The Swans lost gun defender Dane Rampe in similar circumstances when he tripped over a chain outside the club last year. Geelong has again lost patience with Zac Smith, replacing the ruckman with Rhys Stanley. He is one of four changes for the Cats after an ordinary loss to Essendon last weekend. St Kilda has made five changes for Saturday’s clash against Richmond at the MCG. Coach Alan Richardson has welcomed back spearhead Paddy McCartin from concussion while former Port backman Logan Austin will also replace injured stopper Nathan Brown. But the career of David Armitage is at the crossroads after he was dropped again. Jack Billings has again kept his position in the Saints’ midfield despite pressure on the No.3 draft pick to lift his performance. At Richmond, first-year goal kicker Jack Higgins has forced his way back into the team along with speedster Connor Menadue.
