Giants turn to Griffen to step in for injured Kelly

VETERAN midfielder Ryan Griffen has been drafted into the Greater Western Sydney squad as a replacement for injured gun Josh Kelly, who failed to recover from the knee injury he suffered last week against the Swans.

Matt Buntine and Adam Kennedy recovered from knee reconstructions together and will now play against the Pies in a semi final together.

Giants mates take long road to the finals

THIS time last year, Matt Buntine and Adam Kennedy were about as far away from the AFL as they could possibly get, both recovering from knee reconstructions on holidays in Spain and Croatia. It’ll be a different story on Saturday.
