SCOTT Pendlebury is having finger surgery, but Collingwood fans can relax, somewhat, it’s not his fresh finger injury that’s the cause.
Pendlebury will have the pins removed from his right middle finger, which was operated on twice this year and forced him to miss the back half of season 2017.

The Magpies say it was scheduled surgery and all part of the plan.
Pendlebury injured his left middle finger in the International Rules series and Collingwood fans went into meltdown when he posted a photo to Instagram of him in a hospital gown.
He doesn’t require surgery on the new finger injury.
He is unable to participate in tackling or touch drills because of the problems with both his hands but is expected to return to full training by the end of December.
The Magpies are already without Jamie Elliott until late January with the forward needing ankle surgery.
