Collingwood star Jordan De Goey says he’d least like to be isolated with teammate Brayden Maynard during the coronavirus lockdown because he’d “s--- talk”.
De Goey dropped Maynard in it during a live Instagram story Q&A with captain Scott Pendlebury on the club’s official account.
“Brayden Maynard because he’s hopeless. Deadset, he’s just hopeless,” he laughed.
“He just cant handle his p---. He’ll probably s--- talk. There’s a few things about Brayden that I wouldn’t want to have.”
With the AFL season postponed until at least May 31, players have been training at home in order to stay fit for when the season resumes.
De Goey has been filling his days by training, declaring he doesn’t have much else to do with the extra time on his hands during the country’s coronavirus lockdown.
The Magpies goal kicker has been spotted completing running sessions with former teammate, now Adelaide forward Ben Crocker.
“Every second day I’ll run in the morning and then every day I’ll do some sort of gym, whether I’ll do three leg exercises one day and another three the next,” De Goey said.
“I’ve just got so much time on my hands I end up just doing gym all day because there’s nothing else to do.”
De Goey turned heads before Round 1 by dying his hair blonde and Pendlebury has vowed to do the same should a social media poll attract 10,000 ‘yes’ votes.
That number has since risen to 50,000, with Collingwood starting the poll on Friday morning.
Magpies coach Nathan Buckley wants to see it happen.
“I remember hearing 10,000 but let’s get this done anyway … The world needs to see this. I need to see this,” Buckley tweeted.
