Nic Naitanui named for West Coast’s practice match against Fremantle

WEST Coast name Nic Naitanui for his first game of the pre-season when they face Fremantle at Patersons Stadium on Thursday.

NIC Naitanui will line up for his first game of the pre-season on Thursday after being named in West Coast’s squad to face Fremantle.

It is the Eagles’ final official scratch match before their Round 1 match against the Western Bulldogs, 19 days later, on March 23.

The Eagles will roll out a strong line up with Mark LeCras, Luke Shuey, Darren Glass and Josh Kennedy returning to the team that beat Sydney.

The Eagles defeated Fremantle by 84 points when they met in the first NAB Challenge match in Joondalup and the Dockers will be keen to avenge that loss.

Fremantle came from behind to beat the Bulldogs in their second NAB Challenge game and will be looking to go into Round 1 with a victory.

The Dockers will play Collingwood in the opening game of the season on March 14.
