AFL pre-season fixture: Every game and all the details for 2024 Community Series

Pre-season footy isn’t all that far away with the AFL unveiling its Community Series fixture for 2024. See every game, all the venues and the modified rules.

Clubs will again play only one official pre-season match next year in the build up to the 2024 AFL home-and-away season.

The league released the fixture for its pre-season community series on Tuesday, with reigning premier Collingwood set to face off with Richmond in the first hit-out on February 27.

In total, nine games will be played across six days, with all members and children to be granted free entry.

All matches will also be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo.

The practice matches will run the same length as standard home-and-away games, featuring four quarters of 20 minutes plus time on.

However, clubs will be allowed to name squads of 30 players, with eight interchange players and four emergencies.

There will be no interchange cap for the games.

Tickets for the AFL Community Series will go on sale in February.

The opening round of the AFL’s home and away season begins with a clash between Sydney and Melbourne on March 7, with four matches that week.

All 18 teams will swing into action a week later, with Carlton set to host Richmond in the first match of round 1 on March 14.
