St Kilda rookie ruckman Max Heath produced his best game of the season in the NAB League on the weekend as he continues his development during his final year of school.

Heath, who was selected by the Saints with pick 7 in the AFL Mid-Season Rookie Draft, recorded the third-highest KFC SuperCoach score of any player in the NAB League across Round 12 with a whopping 183 points for Sandringham Dragons.

The 204cm big man’s day out included a season-high 22 disposals, nine marks, 27 hit-outs, two clearances, two goals and seven score involvements.

Heath had played just one NAB League game before this year but has now averaged 102 ranking points from seven matches this season

The 18-year-old has also played some school football for Xavier College this season as he completes his Year 12 studies.

Northern Knights midfielder Joel Trudegon continues to top the Herald Sun NAB League SuperRankings after producing another monster performance against Geelong Falcons on the weekend.

Trudgeon, who has been overlooked for Vic Metro duties thus far, recorded 35 disposals six marks, 11 clearances, 15 tackles, one goal and nine score involvements for a total of 228 SuperCoach ranking points.

The Knights captain has averaged 190 points from his six games this season.

Bendigo Pioneers swingman Cobi Maxted was another weekend standout, recording 25 disposals, nine marks and eight score involvements for a total of 189 ranking points.

Many of the NAB League’s top AFL draft prospects did not play on the weekend after featuring in a ‘Challenge’ match between Vic Metro and Vic Country at Windy Hill on Friday.

Collingwood father-son prospect Nick Daicos was the standout in that match with 41 disposals and two goals.
