Brian Taylor set to miss early rounds of 2020, will be in self-isolation after returning from US
There will be no roaming Brian for the early rounds of 2020, with the Channel 7 commentator set to be in self-isolation when he returns from shooting a TV show in Los Angeles.
If the AFL goes ahead as planned, commentator Brian Taylor won't be part of the first rounds of the season.
Taylor is currently in Los Angeles shooting a TV show and will be forced to self-isolate for 14 days upon his return to Australia.
He was already set to miss Round 1 but with the measures in place during the coronavirus outbreak, he will miss further coverage.
"I was down to miss Round 1 but now I'll miss Rounds 2 and 3 if the season goes ahead as normal and as planned (because I'll be in) isolation," Taylor said on Triple M.
"I'm really concerned, I'm really fearing going back into LA airport to get out of this place I think in about seven days when really it hasn't reached the peak by any means yet in the US and particularly, California is one of the worst-affected states that I'm in at the moment, so I'm just fearing that trip back to the airport that's for sure."
