The AFL premiership player has only managed 10 games this year and will be on restricted minutes when he lines up in the VFL against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on Saturday. RECAP TODAY’S FOOTY NEWS IN OUR BLOG BELOW OFFICIAL: LYNCH TELLS SUNS HE’S OUT 2022: CLARKO SET TO STAY A HAWK Richmond VFL coach Craig McRae said the Tigers had carefully managed the 30-year-old’s comeback a month out from finals. “The plan is just to get him through some minutes. I’m not sure exactly how many, and see how he pulls up from that,” McRae said. “He has been fit for a couple of weeks now, so they’re just getting him ready and hopefully he’ll progress from here.” McRae said Houli could ill afford another injury setback as Richmond charges towards a tilt at back-to-back flags. “Any injury at this time of year, whether it is two, three, four weeks, it starts to really challenge where you sit at the end of the year for finals,” McRae said. “That’s why the medical department have been pretty conservative with him.” Watch every match of every round of the 2018 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.
