GEELONG'S parochial newspaper, the Geelong Advertiser, has hit back at complaints over the fixturing of Saturday's second qualifying final at Simonds Stadium offering whingers a box of tissues.
Yesterday’s front page of the Advertiser offered the tissues on its front page with the headline “JUST GET OVER IT".
The paper said: “As the critics slam our home final, the Cats and the Addy are hitting back. We say our proud city, great team, and world-class stadium deserve this match, so stop your crying."

Saturday’s match will be the first time the ground formerly known as Kardinia Park will host a finals match.
The AFL believes the match would have drawn just a small crowd at Etihad Stadium.
But the decision has riled Fremantle fans after Simonds Stadium had originally been ruled out as a finals venue.
The Cats have won 43 of their past 44 games at the ground.
