HE looms as the biggest bargain of Nissan SuperCoach in 2014. Literally.

Standing 211cm, Freo ruckman Aaron Sandilands showed the footy public last night just how big an influence he can have on matches when he completely dominated his side’s NAB Challange clash against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium.

Opposed to All-Australian ruckman Will Minson, big ‘Sandi’ showed who was king of the ruck stocks by hauling in a lazy 47 hit-outs, 16 disposals and booting a goal.

In SuperCoach this year, Sandilands — the standout player on the field in his team’s 28-point win — is priced at the very reasonable $310,700. Cha-ching.

GUMBLETON FACING A MONTH ON SIDELINES

There were plenty of eye-catchers in Wednesday night’s clash.

Emerging Bulldog Koby Stevens showed he’s ready to take the next step, continuing on from his impressive 2013 while young teammate Jack Macrae showed he could be anything in future seasons — but also a SuperCoach bargain in 2014.

MATCH REPORT: FREO PRESSURE JUST TOO MUCH

A couple of Docker big guns — David Mundy and Michael Walters — had profound influences on the match and their SuperCoach scores reflected that, while acting Bulldogs skipper Adam Cooney continued his form resurgence of late in 2013 with another encouraging display.
