PAUL Chapman and Matthew Kreuzer headline some big ins ahead of Round 22.

Richmond star Jack Riewoldt has been named as have captain Trent Cotchin (shin), former captain Chris Newman (ankle) and Matt White (hamstring) who were all struggling with niggling injuries.

After one week in the VFL, Chapman returns for the Cats clash against Sydney along with All Australia forward Tom Hawkins.

The Cats opponents on Saturday - Sydney - dropped Jude Bolton and recalled Tom Mitchell.

Essendon have lost Dyson Heppell for their huge clash with rivals Carlton but regain Paddy Ryder from suspension. David Myers, Michael Hurley and Jackson Merrett were also included.

Fremantle will again be without Garrick Ibbotson and Clancee Pearce after Aaron Sandilands and Hayden Ballantyne were hurt in the win over Melbourne. Jack Hannath and Cam Sutcliffe come into the team.

As they look to lock up eighth postion, the Power recall Kane Mitchell, Jake Neade and Sam Colquhuon while Hamish Harlett is suspended and Cam Hitchcock and Nathan Blee are also out.
