The Western Bulldogs are breathing a sigh of relief after Isabel Huntington was cleared of serious knee damage and remains on track to play AFLW03.
The Bulldogs No. 1 pick injured her knee — which was reconstructed in February — at training last weekend with fears she may have again ruptured her ACL.
It would have meant a third knee reconstruction for the star 19-year-old, but scans have revealed only a minor knee strain.

“It’s a massive relief to know that I haven’t injured my ACL again,” Huntington said.
“Going through the emotions was a little overwhelming, so hearing that there was no major damage to my knee was great.
“I’ll be taking a conservative approach to training and working really closely with our strength and conditioning staff to make sure I can get the most out of my pre-season.”
The reigning premiers open their season against Adelaide on February 2.
