The fourth Duursma sibling could be the best footballer yet.
There’s already been Xavier (Essendon), Yasmin (Carlton AFLW) and Zane (North Melbourne).
Now recruiters are raving about the youngest member of the family — Willem — who shapes as the potential No. 1 draft pick in 2025.
“He can do it all,” one experienced club scout said.
“He can play anywhere. He’d be my pick for No. 1 next year at this stage.”
Like his three older siblings, Willem is coming through the Gippsland Power program in the Coates Talent League.

Standing 191cm, he is mobile and skilful and has impacted in a range of roles already this year, from half-back to forward and on a wing.
Willem shot to prominence in the under-16 national championships last July, named at full-back in the All-Australian team following that tournament.
He also impressed in six under-18 games for the Power in the second half of last season, despite it still being his 16th year.
Recruiters believe the 2025 national draft looks a lot like the 2024 version, with a strong group of around 25 top prospects.
Dyson Sharp is also a potential No. 1 pick contender, with the South Australian being a strong and powerful midfielder who is dominant around stoppages.
Kalani White is a player who could quickly spike, with the 198cm tall already having shown great signs at both ends of the ground.
White is a father-son prospect for Melbourne next year — where his father Jeff played 236 AFL games — but is also a member of the Gold Coast Suns Academy given the family is now living in Queensland.
Collingwood also has a father-son prospect coming through in Thomas McGuane, a classy and clever midfielder who is the son of 1990 premiership player Mick.
The Suns Academy has another bumper draft year on the horizon, with Zeke Uwland, Beau Addinsall, Jai Murray and Dylan Patterson all considered to be top picks alongside White.
