Jack Martin is officially a Blue.

After a drawn out process, Martin finally got his wish of joining Carlton via the pre-season draft on Friday morning.

The classy forward - who played 97 games for Gold Coast - was taken by the Blues after Gold Coast decided against redrafting him.

North Melbourne also made his move before the draft got underway,  signing delisted Lion Josh Walker.

Former Essendon backman Michael Hartley has also joined Hawthorn, while former Pie Ben Crocker will join Adelaide as a rookie.
