THIS is it fellow SuperCoach coaches, we are about to head into the most testing period of the season, in what has been the toughest year in memory.

It’s going to require each of us to dig deep and find something special to thrive when many around us will fall.

For the last few weeks, the SuperCoach economy has been teetering on the edge of collapse, with rookies either not consistently playing, nor scoring at the level we’re used to.

It has reduced scores on the field, but more significantly, cash generation on our benches.

That translates to a lot less spending money when we need it most — now.

So, it’s going to take some crafty rookie selections and some thrifty upgrading to get through this next phase of the game.

And if you can navigate the bye rounds without too many doughnuts and come out the other end with a 22 you’re proud of on the park, good rookie cover on the bench, some dual position coverage and 8-10 trades up your sleeve, well, you’ll be in a good a spot to tackle the run home as anyone.

The best way to give yourself a chance at achieving that is to look at the bye rounds now, to see how your team will stack up in rounds 11-13.

Remember, it’s your top 18 scorers only that count in the bye rounds.

If you’re like most teams, round 11 will probably be giving you the greatest headache with Brisbane, Carlton, Melbourne, St Kilda, Sydney and Western Bulldogs players all unavailable.

So that’s the round you should be aiming to sure up now, if you haven’t started your planning already.

Fortunately, we do have some very nicely priced premiums to trade into this week, if that does fit your strategy, as well as a few rookies on or nearing the bubble.

If you have any questions, fire them through and we’ll see what we can do.
