RICHARD Pratt's former lover and their daughter are contesting his will in the NSW Supreme Court.

Lawyers for Shari-Lea Hitchcock and the late billionaire's daughter Paula, 12, are reportedly taking his widow Jeanne Pratt to court over his $5 billion fortune.

The Herald Sun revealed in January that the cardboard king left a $22.8 million fortune to his love child, along with another $5.7 million in shares.

Shari-Lea, who had already been given a $5 million home in Sydney and a farm on the NSW South Coast, late last year was reportedly seeking legal advice on her assumption she would be left out of the will.

The matter was adjourned to July.
