Several Australians are serving time in Indonesian jails including members of the Bali Nine

There are currently 15 Australians in jails in Bali and Java:

IN KEROBOKAN PRISON

SI YI CHEN — One of the Bali Nine, currently serving a life sentence for his role in the heroin trafficking operation for which Myuran Sukumaran and Andrew Chan were executed in

2015. Those on life sentences have no prospect of remissions or release. He is waiting on the outcome of an application for a determined sentence of 20 years.

MATTHEW NORMAN — Youngest member of the Bali Nine heroin trafficking operation. Also serving a life sentence and waiting for the outcome of an application for a determined sentence.

ROBERT ANDREW FIDDES ELLIS — From Victoria, serving a 15-year sentence after being found guilty in October, 2015 of sexually abusing 11 girls aged under 18 between 2014 and 2015.

EDWARD MYATT — From Ballarat, sentenced in July 2012 to eight years in jail after being caught at Bali airport trying to bring 1.1kg of hashish and four grams of methamphetamine

into Bali. Prosecutors had requested 15 years.

SCOTT DOBSON — From Merriwa in Perth, sentenced in May 2016 to 16 months jail for assaulting a Canadian man over a drinks bill at the Skygardens nightclub in Kuta in 2013. The

victim was an adviser at the nightclub and Dobson was a shareholder.

SHAUN EDWARD DAVIDSON — From Perth, sentenced in September last year to one year in jail for using another man’s Australian passport.

ERIC BEVAN GILLET — From Perth, jailed in May last year for two years after being convicted of defrauding two men of more than $600,000 in a property deal after the men handed over a down payment to buy nine villas from Xanadu Lifestyle Resort complex.

GUISEPPE SERAFINO — From WA, currently awaiting his verdict in the Denpasar District Court on charges of possessing 7.32 grams of hashish at his home in Sanur. He ran the On On Bar. Told the court it was for personal use to deal with chronic pain. Prosecutors have demanded a one-year sentence for personal use. Expected to be sentenced in the next few weeks.

Karangasem prison from Kerobokan in February 2014 at his own request in a bid to get away from drug influences.

MICHAEL SACATIDES — From Sydney, the kickboxing instructor was sentenced in 2011 to 18 years in jail for smuggling 1.7kg of methamphetamine into Bali from Thailand.

Also moved from Kerobokan prison to Karangasem.

IN BANGLI PRISON IN BALI

RENAE LAWRENCE — From Newcastle, one of the Bali Nine heroin couriers arrested at Bali airport with heroin strapped to her body. Serving a life sentence. Moved from Kerobokan after allegations she was involved in a plot to kill jail guards in 2013.

IN MADIUN PRISON IN EAST JAVA

MICHAEL CZUGAJ — From Brisbane, one of the Bali Nine heroin couriers arrested at the airport with drugs strapped to him. Moved from Kerobokan prison in April last year after jail officials said they found him with traces of ice in his cell.
