This could signal hunting season open on those with faith

Rugby Australia has opened a Pandora’s box of pain with its handling of Israel Folau, writes Miranda Devine. Couple this with a Labor win and the majority of Australians with religious faith will become walking targets.

Rugby Australia’s Code of Conduct extends beyond the Wallabies to every amateur player, their parents and spectators in Australia.

“Are they going to monitor the social media posts of 87,000 registered players in Australia, let alone their parents, and tens of thousands of other spectators?”

MORE FROM MIRANDA DEVINE: We must see attacks on Christianity for what they are

It’s a Pandora’s box of pain Raelene Castle has unleashed with her bungled handling of Folau.

And if Labor wins the election, its appointment of an LGBTIQ commissioner to the Human Rights Commission will signal hunting season open on the majority of Australians with religious faith.
