But it’s worth noting that Archie was born in a hospital, not at home, as Meghan had reportedly planned and which homebirth zealots had seized upon for propaganda purposes.

The Duchess is 37, old for a first-time mother, and was a week overdue, making it a relatively high-risk birth and irresponsible even to contemplate without medical help at hand.
