Michael Moore is under fire from greenies for his blockbuster new documentary Planet Of The Humans, which exposes the renewable energy scam. But he deserves a medal.
The movie, which had one million views on YouTube in its first 48 hours, shows up eco-luminaries such as Bill McKibben and the Sierra Club as conflicted phonies. It shows that the solar and wind industries consume more fossil fuels than they save and cause untold environmental degradation.
In one hilarious scene, we see the launch of an electric car made by General Motors in Landing, Michigan. The media pack fawns, except for the documentary’s narrator, self-confessed “tree hugger” Jeff Gibbs. He grills the GM spokeswoman on where the electricity comes from to charge the car’s giant battery.
She has to admit it comes from the Lansing power grid, which gets 95 per cent of its electricity from coal. Of course.
Where did we think the electricity for electric cars came from?
Well-meaning idealists should realise they have been hoodwinked by the climate movement.
It took a leftist to show us how to remove culture wars from environmental protection. Now we can get back to the genuine goal of taking care of our planet, rather than making Al Gore rich.
