Brad Pitt, a cheater? Who would have thought?

Angelina Jolie divorced Brad Pitt this week because something shockingly gave her the impression that he might be the type of guy to be unfaithful. Pitt? A Cheater? It beggars belief.

Angelina Jolie divorced Brad Pitt this week because something shockingly gave her the impression that he might be the type of guy to be unfaithful.

Pitt? A Cheater? It beggars belief, I know.

And yet, reportedly, Jolie does believe it enough to file for divorce, but why does she believe it?

What could possibly have given her, of all people, that idea, about a decade after they admittedly fell in love with each other on the set of a movie they were filming while he was still married to Jennifer Aniston? What could it be?

Maybe there wasn’t anything specific.

Maybe it was just a woman’s intuition.

She might have just mysteriously gotten a niggling instinct that made her doubt the trustworthiness of a man whose public and shameless acts of betrayal has overshadowed his and her acting career ever since.

Yes, that could be it. Woman’s intuition.

Sometimes you don’t need hard evidence to raise your suspicions. You just sense that maybe the person you’re with might have issues with loyalty and fidelity.

Jolie give off the impression that she’s interested in spiritual stuff like intuition. She does weird witchy things like wearing Billy Bob Thornton’s blood sample around her neck in a vial. She has mystical things in foreign languages tattooed on her body. Maybe she senses Pitt’s honesty chakras are unaligned or something.

But still, Pitt? A cheater? It seems so out of character for him that you’d want more than just “woman’s intuition” to prove it.

I mean, how could he possibly break his commitment to stay faithful to Jolie forever? He loves committing to stay faithful to one woman for the rest of his life. He’s so enthusiastic about it that he’s done it twice to two different women.

As I’ve mentioned a few times already, he was actually married to Aniston when he and Jolie fell in love. When he consequently reneged on his commitment stay true to Aniston until death, through sickness and health, he made the very same commitment with Jolie that he’d broken with Aniston.

Why would or how could a man like that ever break his commitment with Jolie? He loves committing to one woman forever so much that he did it twice as many times and with twice as many women as he originally vowed. Those are the facts. They’re on the record.

So what facts did Jolie possibly have that could have supported her reported suspicion that Pitt might be the kind of guy to betray the trust of the woman to whom he’s married?

There are rumours that she hired a private investigator to spy on Pitt and his latest movie’s leading lady, French actor Marion Cotillard, while they were filming together on London.

No one has any idea what made Jolie so irrationally paranoid about Pitt potentially falling for a woman he was working with on a movie. Surely, nothing romantic can come from a professional on screen relationship, especially while Pitt is married.

And Cotillard — currently pregnant with her second child to her partner of 8 years — has denied any romantic involvement with Pitt.

If only Jolie could know for sure if Pitt, a man she was so enamoured with when filming a movie together a decade ago that they fell in love despite him still being married to someone else, was a cheater.

If only Jolie had witnessed him doing something like that herself, or had some first person experience of him disregarding his loyalty to his wife in pursuit of a female co-star.

If only, then she’d know for sure if he was the kind of person who would cheat.
