ONE of Australia’s wealthiest families has backed the Gold Coast for the win on its latest project, a luxury apartment tower on the beachfront.
Rich Lister Harry Stamoulis, who heads up the Melbourne-based Stamoulis Property Group (SPG), today launched Ari at Main Beach with prices from $5.9 million.

The residents-only development, approved by Gold Coast City Council last year, will edge the sand at 3555 Main Beach Parade, replacing the 1980s Hibiscus on the Beach.
SPG engaged Gold Coast architect Bayden Goddard to design a 19-level luxury tower across the 1335sq m site which changed hands in a hefty off-market deal in 2021.
The lavish tower marks the Gold Coast debut for the high-profile development group, which has amassed a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments and property assets across Australia over 30 years.
SPG executive Nick Parthimos said the Gold Coast’s rapid rate of growth made it one of the most appealing locations for development in Australia.
“We have always liked the Gold Coast,” Mr Parthimos said.
“But you have to be on the beachfront to reduce competition and appeal to the right buyer demographic.
“For us, Main Beach was the only suburb that offered that.”
The design takes full advantage of the 30m beach frontage, with large beach-facing balconies and floor-to-ceiling glazing exposing uninterrupted ocean view lines.
The tower offers 26 half-floor three-bedroom apartments, three full-floor four-bedroom apartments, and an opulent penthouse with a rooftop terrace.
Residents are set to enjoy beach club-style amenities including a 25m lap pool, gym, plunge pool, sauna and steam rooms, lounge, and a business centre.
The project is being marketed Kollosche’s Michael Kollosche and Harry Kakavas.
Mr Kollosche said early interest in Ari had been extremely strong, largely from locals who understood the lifestyle and value on offer in Main Beach.
“The Ari offering is complemented by all of the infrastructure, redevelopment and upgrades that are planned for Main Beach and The Spit,” said Mr Kollosche.
“If you look forward five years from now, Main Beach will have transformed into the most luxurious suburb on the Gold Coast.”
