Prime-time dating success story Georgia Love and Lee Elliott are celebrating the purchase of a Hampton East pad they splashed more than $1.35m on.
The couple, who found each other on Love’s season of The Bachelorette in 2016 and got married this year, snapped up the swanky four-bedroom, three-bathroom abode last week.
Love, a 7 News journalist, announced the purchase on social media on Sunday, with her 241,000 Instagram followers quick to congratulate the pair on their latest buy.

Her post attracted more than 27,000 likes in about 15 hours.
Elliott joked on his own account they had “activated” their “adulting mode”, while Love poked fun at the fact they were now saddled with a mortgage.
“We got a mortgage! I mean home! We bought a home!,” she wrote.
Love’s sense of humour has got her into trouble in recent times, having been taken off screen and reassigned to a production role over an offensive post involving a cat in a Chinese restaurant window.
Grammar pedantry on the production desk has also since caused some annoyance among 7 News colleagues.
The two-storey residence sits on a 269sq m block within half an hour of the CBD.
It includes a large open-plan living and dining zone adjoining a stylish kitchen with Smeg appliances, waterfall-edge Caesarstone island bench and glossy white cabinets.
There’s a big outdoor deck with a barbecue kitchen accessed through twin bi-fold doors and a stylish main bathroom with a double vanity and modern freestanding bath.
Buxton director Paul Sibley said the couple and other potential buyers loved the internal proportions, which were larger than an average townhouse.
The residence was also freestanding, meaning it didn’t share a wall with neighbouring properties.
“In a world of side-by-side townhouses, this is quite refreshing,” Mr Sibley said.
“It’s not a brand new build, but (the vendor) freshened it up.”
Mr Sibley said buyers were flocking to the suburb in search of slightly more affordable bayside homes.
Advertised at $1.3m-$1.35m, he said the pad sold beyond the top of its advertised range and the pair claimed the keys ahead of three other bidders.
Other features include Tasmanian oak floors, a double garage, hydronic heating, blockout blinds, soaring ceilings and double glazing.
Hampton cafes, the beach, shops and Highett train station are also nearby.
