TWO members of the pseudo-bikie gang with links to Sydney nightclub entrepreneur John Ibrahim have been arrested over the bashing of four men outside an Ibrahim-connected club.

Allan Sarkis, 35, and David Lima, 31 - both founding members of Notorious - were released from custody last night after being charged over a brawl outside Darlinghurst's Dragonfly nightclub.

A third more junior Notorious member, Auburn man Kelepi Kolopeaua, 24, was also arrested. The alleged September assault is the second serious bashing to have occurred outside the highly successful nightspot since March.

Ibrahim is not listed as an owner of Dragonfly but it is widely known it is one of a stable of nightclubs he has links to.

Police will allege that at 2am on September 14, violence broke out between two groups of men, resulting in four other men being badly bashed.

An investigation launched by the Strike Force Raptor, part of the Gangs Squad, resulted in police pouncing on Sarkis and Lima in Milsons Point and Kolopeaua in Strathfield South.

Sarkis, the head of Notorious, was taken to North Sydney police station along with the reclusive Lima, who is also a founding member of Notorious.

John Ibrahim has links to Notorious via a family member. Kolopeaua was taken to Campsie police station.

All three were charged with affray and released with strict conditional bail.

It is understood there is security video footage from the nightclub that police obtained as part of the investigation.

Following the attempted hit on his brother Fadi in June, John Ibrahim was seen looking tense and speaking to Sarkis inside Royal North Shore Hospital as he awaited news of his brother's condition.

Hours before Fadi's near-fatal shooting, which remains unsolved, Sarkis dined with Fadi in Rose Bay's exclusive Catalina restaurant.

In March, in an unconnected incident, a man with links to Ibrahim and Notorious - who cannot be named for legal reasons - allegedly robbed and wounded another man in a violent attack outside Dragonfly.

The man was charged with aggravated robbery with wounding after allegedly robbing the man of his wallet, cash and mobile and beating him savagely.

The victim, 22, who is "known to police", required surgery to his face.

Sarkis and Lima have been ordered to appear in the North Sydney Local Court on October 27 while Kolopeaua is due to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on November 2.
