This is the second time the talented Terra Sancta College student is competing at this prestigious tournament where 2300 players from 16 countries will be competing.
The February 14-24 tournament is billed as the most important junior (11-12 years) ice hockey event in the world.
Jeremy, who lives in Kings Langley, will represent the Quebec Ice Crocs team, along with his Terra Sancta colleague, Jessie Wilson. He is training in earnest for the big challenge under experienced coach Colin Downie.
They will represent NSW and will be the sole Australian team there.
Jessie, 12, a Quakers Hill resident, has been playing the game since he was five years old, picking up the skills from his dad Anthony, a former national player.
Downie played professionally for 20 years and is a national bantams coaches for Australia.
Ice Hockey NSW's tour squad of 14 players and two coaches will each need $5000, IHNSW president Steven Ransome said.
