POLICE have charged two men after an alleged brawl that led to three being injured — including two with stab wounds — at Doonside.
Police allege that, about 1.40am today, a group of men in a car were involved in a fight with another group who were walking along Hill End Rd, Doonside.
Three men from the car were injured, police said.
One man, aged 22, sustained a head injury, a second, aged 21, received a stab wound to his ear, and the third, aged 22, sustained a stab wound to his torso.
The men who received the stab wounds were taken to Westmead Hospital. The other man was taken Blacktown Hospital. The injuries are described as non-life threatening.
Blacktown police were called out to the investigation and arrested two men, aged 21 and 22, at Crawford Rd, Doonside.
A search of the men resulted in police allegedly finding prohibited drugs, believed to be cannabis, on the older man.
The pair was taken to Blacktown police station, where the older man was charged with affray, possess prohibited drug and malicious damage.
The younger man was charged with affray.
They were granted conditional bail, to appear at Blacktown Court on November 26.
