Jump in a kayak and have a go at paddling the rapids

If you’ve wanted to paddle a kayak and have not done much about it, now’s the time to go for a paddle at Penrith Whitewater.

If you’ve wanted to paddle a kayak and have not done much about it, now’s the time to go for a paddle at Penrith Whitewater Stadium.

Paddle NSW and Penrith Valley Canoeing will hold a “come and try” day at Penrith Whitewater on Saturday for juniors aged 10-16 years.

Ian Borrows, who has been selected to compete in the Rio Olympics, will be helping people with tips and demonstration at the event.

The come and try day will be from 2pm-4pm.

Paddlers will get to try a range of boats and should come prepared to get wet.
